Commitment to Academic Integrity & Originality

Last Updated: May 2026

ASR Academic Research Solutions (the "Company") is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, research ethics, and intellectual honesty. This Plagiarism Policy outlines our zero-tolerance stance toward academic misconduct and defines the responsibilities of both the Company and the User across our 14 core service modules.

1. Core Philosophy

The Company operates on the principle that academic support should enhance the quality and clarity of a researcher's original work. We provide consultancy and technical assistance to improve research output, but we do not replace the author's intellectual contribution. Plagiarism in any form—whether intentional or unintentional—is strictly prohibited.

2. Definition of Plagiarism

For the purposes of this policy, plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Verbatim Copying: Reproducing text, data, or images from any source without proper attribution or quotation marks.
  • Paraphrasing without Citation: Summarizing or restructuring someone else's ideas or findings without acknowledging the original source.
  • Self-Plagiarism: Reusing one's own previously published work (text, data, or results) in a new submission without proper disclosure or citation.
  • Data Fabrication/Falsification: Inventing or manipulating research data to support a hypothesis.
  • Mosaic Plagiarism: Patching together portions of different texts to create a "new" document without proper referencing.

3. Application Across Services

This policy applies rigorously to the following 14 service categories:

  • ASR Ph.D. Thesis & Student Project Support: We provide structural and linguistic guidance. The core research, analysis, and writing must be the original work of the candidate.
  • ASR Research Publication & Book Publishing: All manuscripts submitted for editing or drafting support must be the original intellectual property of the author(s).
  • ASR Patent & IP Facilitation: The Company requires absolute novelty in the ideas presented. Any prior art must be disclosed to ensure the integrity of the Intellectual Property.
  • ASR Funding & Grant Assistance: Grant proposals must represent the genuine research intentions of the applicant and not be copied from existing successful proposals.
  • ASR Journal Management & OJS Hosting: We facilitate the implementation of rigorous similarity-checking protocols for all journals under our management to ensure the credibility of the publications.
  • ASR Institutional Accreditation & Ranking: We ensure that all data provided for ranking (NIRF, NAAC, etc.) is authentic and reflective of the institution's true performance.
  • ASR Industry-Academic Collaboration & Incubation: All business models and technical reports must be original to the project partners.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Originality Warranty: By submitting any document for our services, the User warrants that the work is original and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Attribution: The User is responsible for ensuring that all citations, references, and acknowledgments are accurate and complete according to the required academic style (APA, IEEE, MLA, etc.).
  • Disclosure: Users must disclose if the work has been previously published, presented, or submitted elsewhere to avoid issues of self-plagiarism.

5. Company Responsibilities and Safeguards

  • Similarity Analysis: As part of our Research Publication Support, the Company utilizes industry-standard plagiarism detection tools (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) to provide similarity reports to the User.
  • Consultancy: Our experts provide guidance on how to properly cite sources and rewrite sections that exhibit high similarity scores to ensure they meet international publishing standards.

Upholding Publication Ethics & Research Integrity

Last Updated: May 2026

ASR Academic Research Solutions (the "Company") is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. This policy outlines the ethical framework and professional standards governing the support provided across our 14 core service modules, ensuring that all academic outputs are credible, transparent, and ethically sound.

1. Core Principles of Publication Ethics COPE Compliant

The Company adheres to international standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Our support services are guided by:

  • Integrity: Ensuring the accuracy of research data and the honesty of claims.
  • Transparency: Full disclosure of any assistance provided and potential conflicts of interest.
  • Professionalism: Maintaining rigorous quality control across all scholarly communications.

2. Service-Specific Ethical Guidelines

A. Research Publication & Book Publishing Support

  • Authorship Criteria: The Company provides technical drafting, editing, and formatting support. We do not qualify for authorship. Authorship must be based on substantial intellectual contribution as defined by academic standards.
  • Target Journal Integrity: In our Journal Selection Guidance, we prioritize reputable, peer-reviewed journals. We strictly avoid facilitating submissions to predatory or "hijacked" journals.
  • Peer Review Integrity: While we offer Peer Review Simulation, we never interfere with a journal's official peer-review process. The Company does not provide "guaranteed" publication through unethical editorial influence.

B. Ph.D. Thesis & Student Project Support

  • Academic Independence: Our role is limited to mentorship, linguistic refinement, and formatting. The intellectual ownership and final defense of the thesis/project remain the sole responsibility of the candidate/student.
  • Data Ethics: We assume all data provided for analysis or formatting has been collected with the necessary ethical clearances (e.g., Institutional Review Board approval).

C. Patent & IP Facilitation Services

  • Confidentiality: We treat all invention disclosures with absolute confidentiality to ensure the "Novelty" requirement for patent filing is not compromised.
  • Accuracy: We ensure that technical specifications in patent drafts accurately reflect the User's invention without fabrication.

D. Journal Management & OJS Hosting

  • Editorial Independence: For journals managed by the Company, we uphold strict firewalls between the technical management (OJS) and the editorial decision-making process.
  • Ethical Checks: We implement automated plagiarism and AI-generated content detection protocols for all journal submissions.

3. Prohibited Practices

The Company will immediately terminate services if any of the following are detected:

  • Duplicate Submission: Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.
  • Salami Slicing: Fragmenting a single research study into multiple small papers to artificially inflate publication counts.
  • Image Manipulation: Unethical editing of research images or figures to misrepresent findings.
  • Conflict of Interest Non-Disclosure: Failure to disclose financial or personal interests that could bias the research.

4. Disclosure of Support

The Company encourages Users to acknowledge the technical support received (e.g., "The authors thank ASR Academic Research Solutions for linguistic editing and formatting support") in the Acknowledgments section of their manuscripts, in accordance with the guidelines of most major publishers.

5. Institutional Accreditation and Ranking

When providing Institutional Accreditation & Ranking Support, the Company ensures:

  • Data Verification: All institutional data (faculty counts, publication records, student outcomes) is verified for accuracy before submission to bodies like NIRF or NAAC.
  • Anti-Manipulation: We discourage the use of "citation rings" or other artificial metrics to boost institutional rankings.

6. Accountability

The Company takes responsibility for the quality of the support provided. If an error is identified in our work (e.g., a formatting mistake or a technical oversight in a report), we will rectify it promptly at no additional cost. However, the final approval of all documents prior to submission lies with the User.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any concerns regarding publication ethics or the nature of the support provided should be addressed to our Ethics Review Board. We investigate all allegations of misconduct with impartiality and confidentiality.

Peer Review Policy | ASR Academic Research Solutions
Peer Review Policy

Ensuring Scientific Validity & Scholarly Merit

Last Updated: May 2026

ASR Academic Research Solutions (the "Company") maintains a rigorous Peer Review Policy to ensure the scientific validity, technical accuracy, and scholarly merit of the work we support. This policy outlines how peer review principles are integrated across our 14 core service modules to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence.

1. Core Objectives

The Company utilizes peer review processes to:

  • Filter and refine research quality before formal submission to external publishers.
  • Provide constructive, unbiased, and technical feedback to researchers and institutions.
  • Ensure that academic outputs — ranging from Ph.D. theses to patent applications — meet global standards of innovation and rigor.

2. Peer Review Framework Across Services

A. ASR Research Publication & Book Publishing Support

Before a manuscript is submitted to a journal or publisher, it undergoes an Internal Technical Review. Our subject matter experts evaluate:

  • The soundness of the research methodology.
  • The clarity of the data presentation.
  • Compliance with the target journal's specific technical and ethical requirements.

Note: This internal review is a "simulation" intended to improve the manuscript; the final official peer review is conducted independently by the respective journal.

B. ASR Journal Management & OJS Hosting

For journals managed by the Company, we strictly enforce a Double-Blind Peer Review process.

  • Identity Protection: Neither the author nor the reviewer knows each other's identity.
  • Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, publication record, and lack of conflict of interest with the authors.
  • OJS Integration: Our Open Journal Systems (OJS) hosting includes automated tracking to ensure review timelines and integrity are maintained.

C. ASR Ph.D. Thesis & Student Project Support

We implement a Mentorship Review system where doctoral theses and student projects are vetted by senior academics. This review focuses on:

  • Logical flow and theoretical framework.
  • Correctness of statistical analysis.
  • Alignment with university-specific guidelines and rubrics.

D. ASR Patent & IP Facilitation

Invention disclosures undergo a Prior Art and Novelty Review. This specialized review determines the "inventive step" and ensures that the technical claims are robust enough to withstand legal scrutiny during the patent examination phase.

E. ASR Conference & Seminar Management

For all academic conferences managed by the Company:

  • All submitted abstracts and full papers are subjected to a peer review by a Technical Program Committee (TPC).
  • Selection for presentation is based strictly on the scores provided by at least two independent reviewers.

3. Ethical Standards for Reviewers COPE Compliant

All experts and consultants acting as reviewers for the Company must adhere to the following:

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers must not share, cite, or use any unpublished data or ideas contained in the manuscripts they review.
  • Objectivity: Reviews must be conducted impartially. Personal criticism of the author is strictly prohibited.
  • Disclosure: Reviewers must recuse themselves if they have a conflict of interest (financial, professional, or personal) with the work or the authors.
  • Timeliness: Reviewers are expected to provide feedback within the agreed-upon timeframe to avoid delaying the academic progress of the User.

4. Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are tasked with evaluating:

  • Originality: Is the work a significant contribution to the field?
  • Methodology: Is the research design appropriate and the data reliable?
  • Ethics: Are there any concerns regarding plagiarism or human/animal subject protocols?
  • Presentation: Is the language clear and the formatting professional?

5. Institutional Accreditation & Ranking Support

Our review in this domain involves a Data Audit. We peer-review the institutional data (NIRF/NAAC/NBA) against internal evidence to ensure that the claims made by the institution are defensible and verifiable before they are submitted to governing bodies.

6. Accountability and Feedback

The Company encourages a transparent feedback loop. If a User believes an internal review was biased or technically flawed, they may request a secondary review by a different expert. The final decision on how to implement reviewer suggestions, however, rests with the User (Author).
